Issue Description
The AI invoice scanner occasionally confuses commas and decimal points on European-format invoices (e.g. reads 1.234,56 as 1234.56). Causes major errors.
Why it matters
This bug impacts user experience and needs to be fixed to ensure smooth operation of the platform.
Team Comment
Good catch — European number formats have been tricky to handle consistently. We traced it to the locale detection logic in our parser. A fix is going out this week. In the meantime, if you're getting wrong totals, double-check the extracted amounts before approving an invoice.

We switched back to manual entry for European invoices until resolved. Would love to know when it's safe again.

Good to hear it's being fixed. We've been manually checking every line item since we discovered this.

Same issue in Spain with the 1.234,56 format. Sometimes right, sometimes wildly off. Totally unpredictable.

We're in Germany — this affects every single invoice we process. Please prioritise this.

This caught us out on a €12,000 invoice. The total was off by thousands because of the decimal issue. Critical.
